Thanos Vs. The DC Universe

Thanos being set loose in DC's silver age would have been wild.

I suspect this took far more time than most of your covers to produce because of the images you had to put together. Great job! (And I remember well that JLA secret origin issue that formed the basis for half of this image.)

Today's cover would've been a great part 2 in an even greater trilogy. Part 1 being STF #1236 (@ Sept. 2015). And part 3 featuring Thanos vs. Jemm of Saturn!

I remember that one, too, Chuck! The second part of Starbreaker's debut. For those too young to remember? He was initially depicted as a sort of cosmic vampire. A cross (no pun intended) between Dracula and Galactus!

That would certainly be a good way to finally introduce Saturn's favorite son to the Ross-verse.

Wasn't the DC half of this taken from JLA 144 -- Steve Englehart's masterpiece, "The Secret Origin Of The JLA, Minus One"? (Also the inspiration for Darwin Cooke's Opus "The New Frontier")
