These are two great heroes that we don't see enough of. Static's film debut has been rumored, but I haven't heard much about that lately. The Thunderbolts did make it to the big screen, but alas not the original incarnation of the team where Jolt became a member.
Coming Tomorrow: STF #5000! Including lots of extra features! Following the double sized cover depicting a rivalry that's been simmering in the background for years, there will be a new Saturday Cartoon Line Up, STF-Inspired Action Figures, Board Games, Playsets and More!

Nice 61st anniversary observance of THE FLASH (v.2 ) #123! But, as to the mystery villain; could the unthinkable have happened? Could Crusher Creel and Rudy Jones have physically merged with each other to become...the Absorbing Mangog!
More likely, the merger was facilitated by some sentient energy being. Like, say, everybody's favorite non-corporeal mutant with trans-dimensional properties...Prometheus!
Oops! That should read "Proteus." Somebody put a spell on my spell-checker.
64 years and 6 months since Flash 123 (cover date Sept 1961 so on the stands in late June/early July) :-)
Potato/tomato.
Electrically powered heroes. Throw Lightning Lad in there and make it a trio. Maybe going up against Electro and The Shocker. And nice homage to Flash of Two Worlds as others have mentioned.
Agreed on the "Flash of two Worlds" homage; that registered with me right away.
