Warworld is a cool, concept. I enjoyed the stories featuring Mongul's battle satellite, especially the great crossover through the Superman titles, Panic in the Sky. Hopefully we will get a live action version one of these days.

Wow… three of my favorite characters. Love, love, love this cover….
If you don;t mind a suggestion...
An interesting story arc might be the Golden Age Superman being trained by his pulp fore-bearers,:
-Doc Savage, who Jerry Siegel said was an influence
-The Shadow,
-The Green Hornet, whose hero beats the villain/paper beats societal issues was a clear model for GA Superman stories
-The Phantom
- Flash Gordon
and maybe even some time travel where Buck Rogers, The Lone Ranger, and Zorro train him/
-Perhaps even Hugo Danner...who IS cannon in DC, as Iron Munro;s father.
Sort of a fun look at how even the first and greatest Superhero needed some inspiration.
Just a suggestion, either way, love the site, and appreciate all your hard work.
@Anon730: you took the words right out of my mouth. :-)
@Ross: Is this a sequel to where Galactus and Darth Vader took over Warworld?
This is some creative casting, Ross. Having K & S Hall doing more than track down or just do combat is different!! I do miss them too. Doing research with the absorbacon is one thing, but doing something new in a proactive way is FANTASTIC!! Nice touch with the Surfer too.
I see the cover is John Byrne, excellent choice of Artist and Characters. I recognize Byrne's Silver Surfer, but the Hawkman and Hawkwoman have me confused. Is that Byrne ala Kubert?
Cary: Sure why not?
Anon - Just Byrne but I can see the Kubert influence
Somewhere out there is a story where Mongul's Warworld comes into conflict with Dr. Doom's Battleworld.
Though personally, I'm more eager to see Wonder Man and Blue Devil reunited to fight Clayface.
How about Warworld vs. the Death Star? Or, even Ego the Living Planet!
