Catwoman and Hellboy meet Boo Berry

I am always happy to feature the artwork of Mike Mignola on this blog.  Just seeing these three together already starts a story rolling around in my mind, and having it illustrated by a master of light and dark like Mignola would truly make it into something special.

Lol! What do you want to bet that Deadman-in-Quicksilver beats them to it?

I wonder if some cereal killer will try to stop them?

So what's next -- Blade vs. Count Chocula?

So, who the heck is Boo Berry?

The cartoon spooks-person for a line of breakfast cereals patterned after the old Universal Movie Monsters. Frankenberry (spoofing Boris Karloff with strawberry flaovring); Count Chocula (spoofing Bela Lugosi with chocolate flavoring) and Boo-Berry (spoofing Peter Lorre with blueberry flavoring).

Why isn't The Tick in this one? After all, his favorite catchphrase / battlecry *is* "Spooooonnnnnnn!"

Boo Berry's looking a bit thinner than last I saw him.

Maybe he's got a Vitamin E (for Ectoplasm) deficiency.

Either him or Lindor Van Helsing (the Dutch chocolatier).

It just occurred to me. That cereal company never had anything spoofing werewolves!

But, they did. There was a cereal called Frute Brute (originally Fruit Brute) who was, indeed, a werewolf. (There was also Yummy Mummy and a short-lived cereal called Carmella Creeper, of whom I am not sure of the inspiration.)
