The Flash Vs. The Red Skull

I'm not sure what type of mystical shenanigans that the Red Skull has gotten into to give him the edge over two Flashes, but it would be interesting to find out.  And then, it would be entertaining to watch Jay and Barry give him his comeuppance.

The chains he's using to strangle them are probably made of vibranium. Which, of course, would make it impossible for Barry and Jay to escape the usual way (vibratory phasing)! However, they could escape by using a super-fast variant of judo or aikido that they might've learned from the Black Canaries (mother and daughter) in between missions.

He probably stole--and muttered--Johnny Quick's old formula. Thereby allowing him to surprise attack them at super-speed! As for Anon's theory that the chains might be vibranium? Not a bad guess.

Is this the first time we've had two Flashes on one cover?

That's something that DC's consistently done better than Marvel: legacy names. I think it'd be fun to do something like bring together all of the Doctor Mid-Nites (slash-Midnight) with all of the Captains America, or all of the Blue Beetles with all (both?) Spider-Men.

And maybe the two Witchfires (Jennifer Carstairs and Ananym), as well.

I miss the uniqueness of Earth -1 & Earth-2.

The proverbial price of "progress" (and all that jazz).

I also miss DC having the Earth 1 & Earth 2 histories being different Earths with the Superman & Batman of Earth 2 being the starting point of DC. Now they are forgotten.
