Mr. Universe returns for his 12th appearance as STF's greatest villain, and this time he is super-charged enough that it will take two teams to beat him. Fortunately, this issue is 100 pages, so there will still be plenty of room left for some fun back-up tales!
My goodness, are we really on the march towards STF #5000?
Here are some larger views of this issue's individual stories:

Yes, we are, Ross. And, according to my math? It should reach "shelves" on or about the winter solstice (Dec. 21)! That's my kind of early Xmas present.
But, make no mistake; this one has equinoxed me out of the park, as well. :-)
P.S.---what do you want to bet Wolfsbane is getting a little payback for Catwoman's part in STF #4800?
I could see Mr. Universe taking on Dr. Manhattan. "I'm a Doctor, you're just a Mister." "Oh, yeah. I'm the universe, you're just a crummy island."
Nice to see Dick & Peter. Vic talking to Lois?? What long term plan is he developing?? Beyonder planet hopping?? But now, Mr Universe and Thor?? That is worth the old Thor vs Hulk tales! Lord knows how the Martian Manhunter gets around as far as he does!! This cover was worth every second you spent on it (But which Fury is this..the daughter of the Earth-2 Diana? How would Steve feel about her? Extra protective??)
It makes sense that Rahne Sinclair and Selina Kyle would get along like cats and dogs. #CueRimshot
But #5000 would only need three figures on the cover, as Dr. Manhattan and the Beyonder team up against Mr. Universe.
Another possible rival for Mr. Universe would be the 'Omega' who appeared in one or two issues of the LSH's adventures, maybe back when they still had Superboy's name in their comic's title. IIRC he was a personification of all the hatred in the universe, or something along those lines... or was his origin somehow due to Brainiac-5? Anyway, he was after the Miracle Machine for use in overthrowing reality but Matter-Eater Lad thwarted his plans by eating that device...
Maybe the good doctor could get help from the Mister Team.
#Punworth3/4-of-a-cookie.
When Dr. Manhattan restored the DC Multiverses, did he also restore the Golden Age Nebula Man?
A better question would be: why is Lois Lane taking her own pictures? Was Doc Doom paranoid about Jimmy Olsen for some reason? Okay, so that was two questions. Sue me!
LOVE those larger pics, Ross! Thanks!
