Justice League of America and Doc Savage

Between that signature haircut, the bulging muscles and the beautifully painted paperback covers, Doc Savage seemed like a superhero to me growing up.  I think he would he would have been right at home in a JLA adventure.

I feel the same way. In fact, I've been slowly collecting (mostly used) Doc Savage novels for the past few years. Those painted covers are always thrilling to see, and the stories are fun and exciting.

Well, then, allow me to make it unanimous. I remember reading a Bantam paperback where Doc Savage and his Fearless Five took on a lost colony of Vikings. And it was just as cool as the cover art that had attracted me to it! The artist in question being James Bama* I believe.
