What I am wondering is where Firestorm will fit in the cinematic DCU. I think that James Gunn is a fan of the hero, but I haven't heard anything about his inclusion yet. He is admittedly a tough character to pull off in live action, but I hope we can see a more comics-faithful interpretation than the TV Versions we got on The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.

Good luck! And coming soon, we will see: Captain Planet/Solarman, Kathy (Marvel)/Betty and Veronica (Archie), Firestorm/Human Torch (Johnny Storm), The Comet (Archie)/Cyclops (Marvel) and Atlas (DC)/Thor (Marvel).
Odd joining of forces till one considers that Hellcat probably met Firestorm through the JLA/Defenders team-up in STF #2700. And Firehawk probably met JJ via Spidey and Firestar (Angelica Jones).
Maybe so. But, that still doesn't explain (in-story wise) Firestorm's silhouette super-imposed over Jessica's. Is her body now co-hosting Ronnie Raymond's mind? If so, how was it accomplished...and, more importantly, why?
P.I. Jones is looking for Ronnie...but for who?and why? Will she find Firestorm, and what will he tell her? New mystery begins now!!
