Judo Master has been long overdue for an appearance on the blog. The truth is, I don't think I've read much of his adventures at all. Maybe as one of a bunch of Charlton characters, but certainly nothing that featured him solo.

special guest appearance from Richard Dragon & Shang Chi ?
Always Enjoyed Dinosaur Island Stories…
These 2 look the perfect partnership. Hmm, maybe Luke Cage better look out?
To the best of my knowledge, he never was solo. He had his own version of Robin in the form of a Japanese orphan nicknamed Tiger. With their judoka sensei being the leader of an island of pacifistic Japanese separatists. And, of course, the Imperial Japanese government of WWII would have seen such an attitude as treason!
Tim Truman's 4-part classic "Guns of the Dragon" dealt with a search for the magical Swords of Fan on the Isle of Dragons in 1927. So, it's conceivable that the Axis Powers are making another bid to recover them, roughly fifteen years later. Which would, in turn, logically explain Judomaster's presence. But, how did Iron Fist get here? My guess: Master Klhan is at it, again!
You can read 10 issues of JudoMaster in his own comic on the readcomiconline web site (make sure you have an ad blocker, or you'll see some ads you really don't want to see!). Just make sure to enter the name JudoMaster as one word, no spaces.
Great to see the eclectic Charlton Characters getting more love! But I think we need an Iron Fist and Peter Cannon, Thunderbolt team up now!
I'd buy this comic in a flash.
Unless, of course, that's the Spear of Destiny Judomaster is holding. Stolen from Japan's villainous Dragon King and sought by Iron Fist on behalf of (and under duress to) Master Khan of Kun-Lun.
Here's an idea: Anakin Skywalker vs the Black Knight (from Monty Python and the Holy Grail). It'd be an expensive one, though -- probably cost an arm and a leg.
heck of a spear to make at the last minute. One's on a rescue mission for the other? Where's Mightor when you really need him?
At a Club meeting, perhaps?
or getting a. club sandwich!
Hopefully, that won't cost him a lot of bread. ;-)
maybe some extra lettuce.
Plus, maybe, a few extra toppings compliments of...The Condiment King!
Can a Judo Master / Sunfire team up be far behind?
