Yeah, the contrast between these two would be interesting. Fortunately, I think Rhodey would have enough respect for the de-escalation approach to make the proposal you show here, though.
And since oddball suggestions are the order of the day, let me revive one of mine: Negasonic Teenage Warhead vs. the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight (with the names alone taking up a least half the cover).
How about Superboy and the Ravers with... eh, I don't even care with whom, I'd be happy enough seeing an appearance from Kon-El, Sparx, Hero Cruz, Aura, Kaliber, and Half-Life!
I'd settle for Superboy and the Ravers vs. the Midnight Sons (including EMBWBM).
Brother Power would make an interesting companion for Brother Voodoo, especially as Brothers in Arms against Brother Blood and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
