Matt Reeves' The Batman trilogy seems to be focusing on The Dark Knights more grounded foes. I am hoping that when we finally get to DCU adventures with Batman: The Brave and the Bold, we can finally see some of the more fantastical members of the rogues gallery on the big screen. I've always said involving Hugo Strange and his Monster Men experiments would be a great place to start, as you can use that plot to also introduce Man-Bat and Killer Croc. Make it so, James Gunn and Peter Safran!

Personally, I'd prefer to see a big-screen treatment of the Red Monk storyline. Talk about a Golden Age classic!
The Animated Series is going to be hard to rival, let alone top. Hugo Strange and his brain machine, oh yeah.
Does She-Hulk need a bit more shading for the limited lighting?

The last few people in charge of Batman have leant more toward the "grounded" foes; I think the most "rubber-science-y" foes he's faced on the big screen have been Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy (and, at that, in one of the worst superhero movies ever made).
I, too, would like to see (provided DC divests itself of She Who Must Not Be Named and Mr. "What's Best for the Film" Safran) Batman take on Man-Bat, Killer Croc, Clayface, and similarly fantastic foes. Doing otherwise merely leaves a hole in the mythos.
I've actually been seeing a LOT of talk online (maybe just rumors, maybe more) that Clayface is supposed to be the main villain in the sequel. Interesting, seeing how grounded the first one was, that the sequel would swing so far the other way, but that's what's being told. Anyone here know for sure if it's official or not?
@Bob Greenwade: I blame that as much on the costume designer as the overabundance of Bat-foes.
One wonders if somebody has hit Francine Langstrom with a wrongful death suit for the bloodsucking she did in Vegas as a vampiric She-bat.
Specifically, the fiance of that showgirl from the real-life cover that inspired STF #1295.

Croc? done. Man-Bat? after Darkseid's minions, you really think there could be a problem? only at a size 7.

But if I've learned anything as long as there's a Barbie, there's hope. Just ask the Batgirl movie. Tremendous opportunities.

Ben W, do the rumours say which Clayface? The actor Basil Karlo? Matt Hagen? Whatever version they're up to now with all the reboots since Crisis?
You know, it just occurred to me. Given that's she a lawyer in between acts of superheroism, how about having her finally meet Judge Dredd?
As long as it doesn't involve any curtain calls for her.
The purple-and-white outfit she wore as an Avenger should avoid any undue rubber-necking. ;-)
How about Batman meets Princess Python (sans the rest of the Circus of Crime)?
