There is much speculation about when the concept of mutants will be introduced into the MCU. It will probably be some time before we see a fully formed team of X-Men appear, but there's no reason we can't see individual mutants show up here and there. I think the best place to start might be with a character we already know. Perhaps in the course of her upcoming series Wanda/Vision, The Scarlet Witch will discover her and her brother's true origin as mutants. Maybe that revelation will cause her to seek out more like her... or maybe even create them.

And the Chase is on...
Or, ex-DA meets x-men
Another beautiful mash-up. I've always been a fan of this Vigilante, especially of the Perez artwork.
Maybe X-men could meet the Mutants of Denebria ("The New Adventures of He-Man"); also the muntants of "Futurama".
"Muntants?!" As in, mutants created by Olivia Munn?
Great cover job! That was, of course, the cover of New Teen Titans Annual #3, so replacing them with the X-Men is brilliant!
I'm waiting for a reintroduction of the X-Men, along with the Fantastic Four, but maybe we could leave Wolverine alone for just a little while? As I understand, he's already appearing the Joker movie, the next George Clooney project, and my nightly weather forecast.
And Ororo is pissed. She thought she had that weather job.
Actually, this would be great fodder for a genuine second team-up between the Teen Titans and the X-men! With Danny Chase (Adrian's psionic mutant nephew) providing a plausible link. The only question is...would that truly be Uncle Adrian wearing the modern Vigilante's mask?
I think not.
You make me so happy every time you use some George Perez art!
Ross, there are times you nail a cover. This might be the most seemless one to date. Everything about this one screems 'authentic'. Well done sir!
Would you consider Black Widow vs KGBeast?
Still waiting on an all Keaton cover {Batman vs Vulture}
Still pining for 1980's Vigilante. Bad move on DC's part to let him off himself.
The post-credits scenes for the next few films should have snippets of the Original Five X-Men, beginning with Scott Summers, the best of the best.
Adrian you could have been a contender. Look how well you were treated in Arrow.
@my proud namesake: Yeah! He led Star City's favorite crime-fighters on such a merry "Chase."
I thought the original Vigilante had so much promise but then broke down and they replaced him with series of knockoffs.
Ross, this one's a brilliant cover. I find it scary to think of how much work it must have been. The coloring in particular is right on point. I'd grab this comic in a heartbeat.
@Glenn: the original Vigilante was Greg Saunders. So, technically, Adrian Chase, himself, could be considered one of those "knock-offs!"
