Hawk & Dove and The Hulk

One thing that I liked about the original Hawk and Dove was that they were a brother team.  Usually when a hero had a brother in the comics one was good and one was evil and they would be at odds.  While Hank and Don hall had very different viewpoints, they still fought side by side as a team.  I had four big brothers, so this dynamic appealed to me as a kid.

I can't think of ANY other superhero brothers. Brother and sister, yes. Billy and Mary Batson, Sue and Johnny Storm, the Wonder Twins, the Wonder Twins, Jade and Obsidian etc. Which other brothers are there?

The Summers brothers - Scott, Alex, (and Gabriel - not really a hero I guess). Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver

Personally, I was never too crazy about the Silver Age Hawk and Dove. Partly, because I was disappointed that they _weren't_ the sons of Carter and Shiera Hall.* And, partly, because the incessantly squabbling siblings schtick struck a little _too_ close to home (at that time)!

*A not-unreasonable conclusion to jump to, given their surnames.

Why is Dove's costume pale green (at least in the image I'm seeing)? It way always powder blue.

Backlit side-effect by the ambient yellow sunlight, perhaps?

In "The Golden Age" (DC, Elseworlds, 1993) Captain Triumph (Lance Gallant) has retired and is trying to lead a normal life, despite his twin brother Michael's ghost urging him to become a hero again.

@KKWRBruce: 3-D Man and Brother Voodoo also involved a guy teaming up with his dead brother. (Yeah, top-tier characters there.)

@Jay Johnson: I think it's probably fading from the source of the scan. Hawk looks rather yellow as well.

I think the comics appeal of Hawk and Dove was diminished some by killing off Dove and eventually replacing him with Dawn.
