Bulletman and the Rocketeer

When I was a kid I was under the impression that Bulletman was a much bigger comics star than he was.  This was mainly due the the fact that he had his own action figure well before many heroes from DC or Marvel could make the same claim - I can still remember the "Bulletman the Human Bullet!" theme song in my head.  Sure, he was a G.I. Joe version of the character, but he seemed like the same guy to me.  Alas, the real deal could only be found in rare guest star appearances with the Justice League or Shazam Family.

What did you think of Bulleteer? https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Bulleteer

She has potential but hasn't been used much. She's appeared once on the blog.

There was a LOOSELY similar-looking character in American Dad; he tried to exploit a chance to assassinate Hayley Smith (who replaced him as a gun advocate (VERY reluctantly!)) and later died in "100 A.D.".

Nice cover. Does DC still have the rights to BULLETMAN? If so, why haven't they used him in such a long tome?

Will you do a cover, where a lot of different characters go to the San Diego comic con together? Maybe do a cover for each day of the con telling a story.

That last suggestion sounds like it could be fun. If nothing else, it's something that Wonder Man and Booster Gold might go to, as celebrity guests. Dazzler and Blue Devil might also be willing. The cinematic versions of Iron Man and (The Original) Captain Marvel would also be decent choices.

If memory serves, the GI Joe Adventure Team Bullet Man was actually sort of modeled after the Japanese anime hero, Ultra Man. At least, with regard to his helmet doubling as a mask!

DC actually published a story (as a 'special. rather than in the regular series) in which Harley Quin went there...

Didn't the Mad Thinker go there once, too? Looking for a suitably brain-washable virgin?
