The Atom and Machine Man in: "Get Out of My head!"

With the events of Avengers: Infinity War, it looks like The Vision may be off the table for a while, if not for good.  While I will miss the synthezoid, that does provide an opening for another robotic character.  How cool would it be to see Machine Man make the leap to the big screen - especially if the stayed close to the original Jack Kirby design?  I compute that it would be extremely cool!

This tale picks off directly from the events of STF #448, one of my personal favorite covers...

One of the fun things about Ray's "Sword of the Atom" phase was seeing the buttoned-down scientist in full barbarian mode. Interesting that Ross chose that version to pair up with a future-tech partner.

Between the MCU designers' attention to being (mostly) true to characters' original looks and the recent advancements in motion-capture technology (as seen in the Planet of the Apes trilogy), I have no doubt that the producers could create a dead-on visualization of Machine Man. Vision or no Vision, I think he'd be fun to bring into the MCU.

Oh, and Ross... I think you should start thinking about how to follow this up to reveal the answer to MM's question here. Perhaps it can tie into the Robo-Force storyline!

Re: STF #448. I'll say that Mr. Palmer either hid the location of the Anti-Life Equation in Aaron's memory banks (to keep it from Darkseid). Or that the Celestial Madonna's son was born in the pre-Crisis DCU (to keep Thanos from allying with the Construct).

@Carycomic: more likely the former. Mantis giving birth to Sequoya would be old news to Thanos. And I don't see an alliance of convenience being possible, since the Construct (at least, in the pre-Crisis DCU) needed Earth's daily network of electromagnetic communication frequencies to exist! And interdimensional vibratory rates being variable as they are, I don't see the Construct being able to transfer "his" collective consciousness to another universe.
