Geoff Darrow always amazes me with his ultra-detailed artwork. There is so much to see in his illustrations, which makes the comics he's done art for a joy to revisit. I'd be interested to see what kind of paper he does his original artwork on - I imagine it's got to be huge, much larger than the standard size for producing comics, just to fit all of the detail in.

astro boy and iron man or steel or red tornado
Not familiar with the character "Big Guy" but he reminds me of Stripes of "Star and Stripes" so him and Stripes would be a good cover with 2 of them.
And maybe the artist uses regular paper and is really, really detailed like the artists who drain art on a grain of rice.
@Glenn: "Big Guy" is also reminiscent of Bozo the Iron Man (who could be either remote-controlled or manually piloted from inside by Golden Age crime-fighter Hugh Hazard).
@Ross: nice assortment of mecha-jin, Ross! May I humbly suggest a sequel where they have to defend Magnus from Judge Dredd, who's over-
zealously acting on their behalf?
In any event; Happy Easter, dude! :-)
To Whom It May Concern: Rusty and Big Guy are from Dark Horse Comics circa 1995.
Happy Easter to you too, Anon!
Ross, my Darrow is on a page about the size of poster board. It features Gigantor & Astro Boy vs Big Guy & Rusty.
It’s too large to scan so I used a photo. Click the link to see it, some detail shots, and the actual dimensions.

Wow, that must look beautiful on dispay. I have a couple of Darrow sketches, but much smaller.
"I call him 'The One Who Got Away'."
Happy Easter!
