Tigra and Thundercats
LIke Transformers, Thundercats was a cartoon that I missed out on when it first aired. When I finally got around to checking out some of the newer episodes, I immediately thought of Tigra from Marvel. They just seem like they belong together.
Tigra first discovered her heritage from Tygra, her teammate on The Fur Force...

Nice!
Mind you, I still want to see this Tigra meet Orion [of the New Gods], because his mother was also named 'Tigra'...
^_^
I wonder how many furry / Rule 34 sites this cover will get cross-posted to.
Awesome idea, Jay!
I can see it, now: "New Gods vs. Thundercats. Mumm-Ra and Darkseid Enter Into...AN UNHOLY ALLIANCE!"
The Cat People could easily dovetail with Thundera!
Nice pairing! How about Batman and Princess Elsa (from FROZEN) double-teaming Mister Freeze?
On second thought, make that "Batman'66" and Princess Elsa. That way, you could use photo-captures from the two-parter where Mr. Freeze (Otto Preminger) kidnapped beauty contestant Miss Iceland (Dee Hartford) to become his ideal mate.
Better watch it with Tigra around Lion-o. Though they did not reference it later, the pilot episode shows us that Lion-o was a child when they left Thundera and while his body aged due to a malfunctioning cryopod, his mind is still that of basically a ten-year-old. All of his mentors quickly seem to forget he's really a child in an adult body and so did the writers. Lion-o and Shazam would have a lot to talk about.
Could've been worse, Marc. He could've wound up a dessicated mummy like Lt. Stewart (from the original POTA w/Charlton Heston)!
