Fantastic Four and The Legion of Super-Heroes

I was wondering where Marvel Studios is go with their films in Phase Three of their plans.  Now that a deal between Disney and Fox seems imminent, a whole new world of possibilities are opening up.  Finally a decen't Fantastic Four movie, an X-Men saga with the proper timeline, costumes and characters, Secret Wars, a comics-accurate Defenders team, Beast in the Avengers... so many places to go.  I especially want a big screen Thing Vs. Hulk fight - something I have been waiting my whole life to see!

Secret Wars? Best for Disney and Fox to never make a deal!

I've been hoping for a comics-accurate Defenders since the beginning, and an Avengers-Defenders War!

What?!? Not a single word about the Legion! Travesty! (haha)

Amen, Ken. I'm big Legion Fan from way back and would love to see them on the BIG screen. They could do the origin story first so as not to overwhelm folks with too many characters. Then at the end show a "try-out" session with a bunch of would-be Legionnaires (and a Melissa Benoist cameo). It would rock if done right.

In the STF Universe, is the Negative Zone the same realm as the Phantom Zone--as it was in Amalgam Comics, where it was called the "Phantom Negative Zone"?

And as always, I'm happy to see the Legion. I assume Annihilus has somehow brainwashed the quintet seen here?

I am interested in seeing how Supergirl (when she returns) handles the Legion with Saturn Girl, Mon-el and Brainac-5.

I've flat out given up on DC/Warner getting it right, aside from the occassional happy fluke like Wonder Woman. They dont care or are to greedy and incompetent, but I'm grateful Marvel is firing on all cylinders. Now if only Image, Comico and Dark Horse properties could get off the ground.

Speaking of Comico: how about "Spidey meets Justice Machine?"

How about the John Byrne version of the Legion from the mid 1980's of Brainiac 5 , Sun Boy , Invisible Kid II and BLOK to take on the FF ?

@Kid Charlemagne: From the word balloon, I'd guess it was the other way around. Annihilus probably brainwashed Chameleon Boy, Ultra Boy, Phantom Girl, Element Lad and Shrinking Violet using the ultra-anodyne ray of Kang/Rama Tut!*

*Smuggled to him, perhaps, by the Time Trapper.

I think that's the quintet he meant.

@BB: Lol! With Ross' virtually endless supply of imagery, one can NEVER be certain.*

*The LSH could've been going up against the Fantastic 5 (including Spidey)!
