I like pairing these guys together for obvious reasons, and this is their sixth team up. I wanted to add a golden-age style cover to the mix, so here goes!
As I said, Green Arrow and Hawkeye have met before on the blog - They first met in one of my very earliest STF covers... then they were at odds with a few fellow Avengers along for the tale... Next up they faced off against The Hulk and Solomon Grundy... then it was time to hone their skills... and finally they shared an adventure with Black Canary and Mockingbird.

I like this.
It was fun when their paths "really" crossed in JLA/Avengers, too...
You're best cover depicting these two, yet, Ross! I like to think that, in a real-world comic featuring this cover, this particular mistaken identity confrontation would be instigated by the Chameleon and Merlyn the Archer.
Thanks cary. BTW, enough with the Trejo/Trump requests. There's a million places to inject politics on the web, let's not make my blog one of them.
As Simreeve noted, the "official" meeting between these two was a lot of fun, and I don't think anything you've done with them has contradicted the respectful rivalry shown in the JLA/Avengers miniseries. This cover in particular gives a good Golden Age feel to what would be (from their perspective) their first meeting. If I'd gotten to actually read those other stories, I certainly would be interested in this one.
They are their respective universe's greatest bowmen but yet both miss their stationary target from twelve feet away !
Ross, there are so many covers that could be done with a name like Trump, let alone with consideration of the individual concerned.
I'm sure I'm not the only reader of your blog to decide not to suggest any of them. I agree that there are many better places for political satire and the blog is best kept out of it.
I agree with royal flush gang. The closest I could imagine would be a Jack of Hearts vs the Royal Flush Gang cover, with Jack saying something like, "Come on, guys -- you're thieves, not political terrorists!"
And I don't think that even that much is in the cards. #BadPunNoCookie
Evidently, this is a "prequel" to STF #96.
