Animal Man in Jurassic Park
I had just finished reading Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park when the movie adaptation was announced. Dinosaurs had usually been pretty unconvincing on the big screen at that point, so I was glad that Stephen Spielberg would be directing, I knew he would pay close attention to the visuals. And did he ever, that first groundbreaking movie still stands up on present day viewings.

Amen, Ross, Amen! Thanks for posting this.
Btw: if Spidey visits Isla Nublar, next, would that make him "Jurassic" Parker?
Uh-may-zing! Michael Crichton was an amazing writer! The Andromeda Strain and Westworld will always be my two all-time favorites.
When was Jurassic Park adapted as a comic book?! Marvel or Dark horse, maybe?
Neither Marvel nor Dark Horse. Topps had several series of comics in the 90s. I don't know about post-2000 but I think IDW has brought out a few.
I once met Michael Crichton at a book signing. He is one tall fellow!
I, too, was highly impressed by the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park movie. I've always enjoyed stories with humans and dinosaurs side by side (or, more often, toe to toe), from both Land of the Lost TV series on forward. I even featured dinosaurs in my novels, using the best information I could find on their appearance and behavior... only to learn just one month after the first one was released that dinosaurs had feathers!
Ross, I saw the news of the passing of Richard Hatch. Any chance of an BG Apollo and DC Apollo team-up ? (with a side of Starbuck and Starfire?)
@Air Dave: "Congo The Paperback" was my introduction to Maestro Michael. I think Eric Braeden would've made a more believable Capt. Munro for the later movie.
Animal Man really would be a natural choice beyond the obvious of his name for this, since he was once a Hollywood stuntman for a while, so I could see this.
How about Buddy visiting the Savage Land where I imagine he'd REALLY be able to let his powers loose without fear of hurting people or property
