Captain America Vs. Solomon Grundy

The final Captain America: Civil War trailer had a lot of cool moments in it.  I already wrote about the Spider-Man appearance a few days back, but equally cool was seeing The Black Panther in action.  The long shot of the two teams of heroes charging towards each other  reminded me of similar moments in the opening credits to the Super Friends and X-Men cartoons back in the day.  Plus, Ant-Man hitches a ride on Hawkeye's arrow, just like a classic Avengers cover.  I could tell that directors the Russo brothers were big comic fans from their stellar work on Captain America: the Winter Soldier, and it looks like they are about to top themselves.

Just curious, could Solomon Grundy be related to Miss Geraldine Grundy of Archie fame?

[Cary of Earth-1, genuinely puzzled.]

"Super-Friends charging at the X-Men? I don't remember that from either of their cartoon intros?"

[Ross of Earth-2 whispering back.]

"It was Super-Friends charging LoD. And X-men charging Brotherhood of Mutants."

[Cary of Earth-1, "intelligently" replying.]

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ahem! In any event, I like how well you captured the action-packed poses. And, of course, I absolutely LOVE the punny title! Bravo!"

We need a RAGMAN vs TATTERDEMALION cover! It could be called "From riches to rags".

How about Ragman versus Carrion?

Wow. This is a match-up I would like to see.
As usual, both characters look like they were drawn by the same artist on the same day! A nice bit of alchemy!
Always something to see here.

Oops. I did forget to check the archives first. It won't happen again.
