Swamp Thing and The Micronauts

Talk of the long in development Justice League Dark movie has picked up again, with director and casting rumors floating around.  Even though Guillermo Del Toro is no longer attached to the project, apparently his top choice for the role of Swamp Thing was Ron Perlman - and the studio is still interested in him.  I had figured Swamp Thing would be a CGI creation, but if they are going to go with a live actor, I think that Perlman makes for a great choice.

Perlman would be awesome as Swamp Thing! Although, I'm very concerned with how the DC films will turn out...

What would be utterly ironic is if Justice League *Dark* is actually funnier and lighter than B v S and beyond. :-) But I love the concept.

Love this cover so much! Put Micronauts on just about anything and it's a win!!!

You're right, as usual, Ross. A prosthetically-costumed Perlman would be preferable to a CGI Swamp Thing. As I can never, ever forget (or forgive) the abomination that was the Syfy Channel version of Marvel's Man-Thing!

I agree with Shagg. Micronauts for the win on this cover. The Michael Golden art is the best part. I just picked up a mess of Micronauts from my LCS is the last month. They have a nice discount outlet I have been digging old comics out of.

It was announced over the weekend that the next GI Joe and Transformers movies were moving forward and that these film franchises are being joined by the Micronauts movie.
