A meeting between Dolphin and Namor was overdue on this blog. When I stumbled on to a pair of sketches of the two heroes by the legendary Ramona Fradon, I knew it was time to combine them and make it happen.

Nice choice.
I don't know much about Dolphin, but wasn't she mute? If so, maybe this is a Skrull imposter?
Hmmm! I was going to ask if this was a prequel explaining how the Avenging Son became a member of Agents of the Abyss. Fortunately, I double-checked under that parameter, first. Imagine my relative shock at discovering that he wasn't already a member!
Hopefully, that'll change by AOTA's third appearance. Like, say, Namor aiding them against the Death-dealer From the Depths of the Dead Sea!
She has been mute before, but I don't know if that's always been the case.
I haven't read any of her post-Crisis stories, but in her original appearance in Showcase #79, and when she was a member of the Forgotten Heroes a few years later, she spoke just fine, though often in the third person.
She wasn't an Atlantean, though. At least, that's what Aquaman said in Showcase #100.
I'd buy that for sixty cents! :-)
After reading her appearances with the Forgotten Heroes, looks like she talked just fine there. And I definitely remember her talking in Peter David's Aquaman run during the nineties. I only saw her as a mute in the Rebirth era, so my guess would be that it was added then, or maybe in the New 52, which immediately preceded it.
