Has Ray Palmer ever gone large like this in the actual comics? If so, there may be a closer relationship between Ray's tech and Hank's than we realize -- something that might be worth exploring.

Yeah I've seen that one but the team had so many members. He could use Clea, Iceman, Moondragon, Angel, Cloud, Power Man, Hellcat, Red Guardian, etc. for a different take on another team-up between the two.
Then how about Power Man for Awkward Man; Moondragon for Dumb Bunny; Red Guardian for White Feather; Cloud for the Blimp; and Clea for the Jester?

I was going to say, the Ray Palmer of the Arrowverse suddenly grew, but what I didn't know is either Berlenetti or some exec at the CW wanted an Iron Man clone and Brandon Routh got drafted. Hollywood thinks Iron Man is an A List character.
With, maybe, Nexus vs. Judge Dredd as a preliminary bout?
