My first wild guess? The Atom is being mind-controlled by not-so-white Starro matter (mixed with Pym-particles)!* But, even if I'm wrong, I'm still impressed by this morning's blend. For sixty cents, I'd gladly grab this off the shelf.
*See STF #4209.
OK! I'm half-wrong. It was STF #4206.
Has he been merged somehow with Atom-Smasher?
Off subject, but with Dexter back maybe a cover of him on trial with Matt Murdock for the defense.
Is he being sued by his sister Didi for practicing mad science while still underage?
Wrong Dexter! Emsley's referring to the made-for-streaming serial killer who preys on other serial killers.
Another great cover and quite the unexpected team-up!!!
Has Ray Palmer ever gone large like this in the actual comics? If so, there may be a closer relationship between Ray's tech and Hank's than we realize -- something that might be worth exploring.
Ray shifted thru dimensions and hasnt shrunk back down yet. Shifting thru dimensions can be so much fun!!
There's so much magic represented on this cover!!
Maybe in Kandor.
You should pick 5 non-team Defenders members & have them meet DC's non-team The Inferior 5 for a future cover LOL!
2 answer Bob G.'s question. He was larger than life on some JLA covers in 1983 against Bats, Arrow, Canary, Tornado & Hawkman.
See STF #1116 @ May 4 of ten years ago.
