It's good to know that animators are currently hard at work producing the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, one of the greatest comic book movies ever made. I look forward to seeing Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099, getting into the mix as well as whatever other variants they plan to include. I just hope that the live action third Marvel Spider-Man movie doesn't steal its thunder too much, as that movie seems to be intent on opening up a spider-verse of its own.

I’m a diehard Ted Kord fan and have never been able to warm up to Jaime Reyes or the alien tech angle of the current Blue Beetle, but I love Miles Morales and think this would be a fantastic pair-up. I’m actually disappointed it will never happen.

Seriously, though: I like this concept. If only because the Time-Killers resemble a cross between Batman's OMAC's and the cyber-symbiotic Fury from Alan Moore's stint on Capt. Britain. There's just something about a near-faceless killer robot that's more chilling than any flesh-and-blood super-villain. I don't know why. Maybe the complete lack of any facial expression just makes them seem more...implacable.*
*Always wanted to use that word! :-)
@Cary: Actually, these guys remind me of a Guavian Death Gang (The Force Awakens and Star Wars Resistance).
@Ross: This is a very cool, nigh-seamless cover here, Ross; and like most of the above commenters, I can could this being a regular thing if Marvel and DC ever decided to make a regular crossover anthology series.
@Bob: Never heard of the Guavians. Who are they? Sentient blobs of Latin American jelly?
@Cary: Nope! You're thinking of the Guavans. An offshoot of the protoplasmic Ugor race.
@Cary: If you've seen The Force Awakens, you may remember a scene on the freighter, early in the film, where two different gangs confront Han in an attempt to collect debts owed. One of them is this bunch; the Guavian Death Gang are the ones at the back.

In the Spider-verse movie, Spider-Ham certainly had charm(?).
@Bob: I did see TFA. But, I still don't remember them. Which, from my viewpoint, means they were _really_ forgettable! Sort of like the four actresses who starred in that ill-advised feminist remake of GHOSTBUSTERS.
@Cary: The Guavians in TFA were a sort of blink-and-you-miss cameo. They were expanded upon somewhat more memorably with their two appearances on Star Wars: Resistance.
Never having been a big video game afficionado (I even sucked at Pong!), I will--to paraphrase Starhawk of the original GOTG--accept the word of one who knows.
