Indiana Jones on The Planet of The Apes

It was announced yesterday that in addition to a fifth Indiana Jones movie, a new video game featured the character is in development as well.  There have been games featuring the character over the years, but I haven't played one since the 80's.  I've been revisiting Uncharted recently and I'd love to see similar kinds of gameplay in an Indiana Jones adventure.  They just have to make sure and include some cool action using his whip!

I knew that 'Ark of the Covenant' was up to no good. Somebody's always trying to monkey around with its spell.

Superman on the Planet of the Apes. "No Titano the Super-Ape?" "Excuse me, I have a little job to do." ........ "What is he doing?????" " A whole LoT of change!!"

Frankly I think they should stick to the game. We don't need another Crystal Skulls.

A first for me. Here's a cover that I'm not all that interested in seeing as an actual comic...
No, this needs to be a big budget MOVIE!
(Maybe big enough to throw in Kong too.)

Indiana Jones and King Kong... now, that has some serious story potential!

(All I hope for this presumably final Indiana Jones installment is to find out how he lost his eye.)

I wonder if he was brought here by one of those Stargate thingies?

Never bring a whip to a gunfight.

Further thoughts. How about Detective Chimp and/or Gorilla Grodd with The Planet of the Apes?

Davejonz, see STF #2065

Thanks Ross. Not sure how to find a numbered STF so viewed all the Planet of the Apes. Very cool.

I'll tell you someone interesting who hasn't been to the Planet of the Apes: Galactus.

And I can barely imagine what sort of mischief Deadpool and/or Ambush Bug might get into there.

(Though I'm still quite proud of Mars Attacks the Planet of the Apes!)

Aww Doc, Red Sonja on Planet of Apes? Would she 'meat' her match in bed?
on the other side, The Apes have a new visitor: Howard the Duck!

Which Team will you be rooting for when Planet of the Apes gets Aliens?

Carycomic said...

"Awww, Doc..."

That's an even more brilliant concept: Bugs Bunny visits the POTA!

Feathers; you're a genius. :-)

Even more bizarre: Planet of the Apes Experiences the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

That would no doubt drive Zaius bananas.

Tell me it's not true Doc. They don't still call it the Battle of the Sexes?
Those guys are in B I G trouble!

Carycomic said...

If you see a really animated battle of the sexes, see the movie of the same name with Jack Lemmon and Jason Robards. It's a cult classic from the pre-Bicentennial Seventies. At least, that's when I saw it on NBC one Friday night.

Actually, that movie was called "The War Between Men And Women." But, yeah, that scene where the magic marker drawings came to booze-fueled life was hilarious!
