Deadman and Werewolf by Night
Here's another match up that I think could make for a very interesting tale based on the complication that Deadman describes above. What would happen if he took over the body of someone that has already undergone such a major transformation? Would he be able to reign the monster in, or would its savage side overcome him as well? I know that I would shell out 60 cents to find the answer!

Great concept - What if Boston took over a ___?
Werewolf, zombie, Frankenstein monster, alien, witch, ghost or Waller.
Some great food for thought in most cases. An alien without a translator might have to write out messages if it can't speak in English mode.
Actually, I think he did take over a werewolf, once. In one of the original "Books Of Magic" from DC. The occupation was very brief, though. The werewolf shrugged him off in less than one-and-a-half pages!
Hmmmm! One wonders if that little girl is Katana's daughter? If so, Jack Russell could be under Master Khan's control (via that wolf-woman Fera).
@det_Tobor: what does the question "What if Boston took over a ___?" mean?
@Anon@8:38: The answer is on the very next line: "Werewolf, zombie, Frankenstein monster, alien, witch, ghost[,] or Waller." Ghost is kind of redundant, we've arguably seen him take over an alien (Kal-El*), and (Amanda) Waller is a fellow DC character, but seeing what would happen if Deadman possessed a werewolf, corporeal undead, or someone else under a curse would be an interesting tale.
*See the Justice League Unlimited episode "Dead Reckoning" (Ep. 32/Season 3 Episode 6). In that episode Boston also possesses Wonder Woman and Atomic Skull.
Could anyone imagine Deadman teamed up with the Winchesters from Supernatural?
Anon@9:20. Oh yeah. Tween the last episode with Mrs. Butters and the Ghostbusters song in the episode, the BOYS ARE BACK! For a fun time, youtube has them guesting in two Supernatural fun parodies by the Hillywood group. Well worth it.
As to this classic cover Rossy you're gonna build a whole diorama with the way your covers stimulate your readers.
@Bob Greenwade: actually, Deadman once took over the psychically projected astral body of a living human as part of some crossover with the Challengers of the Unknown. It drove the projectionist literally crazy!
In JLU's "Dead Reckoning", didn't Deadman also possess Batman, and make him shoot Devil Ray and in the process accidentally electrocutes him to death.
@Anon646: "By George! I think you've got it."
I just read The Spectre Annual #1 (1988) & the exact scenario you asked actually happened. Deadman "possessed" the werewolf, but he was not "in control" of him.
