Well, it looks like there's going to be some major multiverse competition in the movies coming up. Now that word of both Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck reprising their roles as Batman in the in-development Flash movie is out, Kevin Feige is apparently looking for ways to outdo DC with his Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. There are rumors that he is trying to cast alternate takes on Marvel heroes with actors that were almost cast in the roles, such as Tom Cruise as Iron Man, Emily Blunt as The Black Widow and John Krasinski as a Hydra-Loyal Captain America. Then there's the next Spider-Man film which will feature Jamie Foxx back as Electro and is rumored to maybe feature Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning to their Peter Parker/Spidey roles - and let's not forget that J.K. Simmons is already back as J. Jonah Jameson! Can they pull it all off?

Since DC & Marvel did so much cloning-fun at each other there is whole libraries of material to draw from. And lets not forget things like the Squadron Supreme could be used by both companies. Hyperion vs Hyperman of the silver age. Lots of material.
This is a. fun cover you could also do with photos. Benedict Cumberbatch and Jason Momoa could be joined by the hydra character from S.H.I.E.L.D. even underwater. But Aparo's art is always a treat so no complaints.
If they do use the multiverse again and there are two or three different Aquamans as there were Superman and other- Arthur Currys were into magic as well as science
....would Strange still be the master of the mystic Art s?
The Doctor Strange on the cover reminds me a lot of Superman.

Seriously, though: this is a great action sequence, Ross. I even remember what Dr. Strange story arc this was from! The Lovecraft homage from the early Seventies!!
For example: there was an Innsmouth pastiche introduced, called Starkesboro, Massachusetts, where the people were partially of Serpent Man descent. And their resident demi-god was called "Sligguth."
That's why I'm slightly disappointed that Marvel never published an Iron Man/Doc Strange team-up involving that same town. Collateral descent from its inhabitants being the reason Tony's patrilineal ancestors dropped the suffix "e." If not, the source of his and his father's technological genius!
For that same reason, I'd rather see Bruce "Ash" Campbell cast as an alternate Tony Stark. He was up for consideration of the title role during one of the first proposed attempts to make a live-action Iron Man movie! He might even be more fitting, considering how phobic Cruise and his fellow Scientologists are about certain aspects of modern technology.
I think it might also be fun for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to include some castings that actually did happen; I really liked Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm, and it'd be fun to have him back, even if it was just a cameo.
It might even be a chance to introduce us to the Exiles, especially if we can have Jenny Chung as Blink and Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik.
Oh, and regarding this cover, Ross, I agree with the above in that it's particularly well done. I'm not too sure about a Cummerbatch/Momoa cover right now, though; but maybe you could try another team-up between these two (either photo or drawn) once we know officially that Amber Heard is out of Aquaman 2. They could work together to investigate Mera's murder.
I would welcome ANY chance to have Chiklis back! I love that guy. He would certainly have the voice to play a CGI Thing. Not certain if they would cast him as a human Ben Grim again though.
I'd make a comment about the greyness of Chiklis' hair, but that's kind of hard to tell.

Seriously, though: I'd like to modify an earlier suggestion I made. I'd like to see a three-for-all between Mace Windu (SLJ) and Dr. Sleep (Ewan McGregor) vs. Walter O'Dim (Matthew MCConaughey)!
The first and third actors worked together in "A Time To Kill." And the "Star Wars" connection between the first and second actors should be obvious...even to a Trekkie!
