Power Pack and The Legion of Super-Heroes

Now that Disney owns the Marvel properties, I will be surprised if we don't heard more plans for Power Pack.  A superhero team made up of young brothers and sisters that get caught up in intergalactic shenanigans seems like a natural for the the House of Mickey.  I can imagine a feature film, streaming series or even an animated show coming out of the concept.

Animated makes most sense because stars will age very fast.

Hmmm, How about Adventures in Babysitting with Jessica Jones? Fun for the whole family on their service. Maybe something lik Smallville.

Today's cover? Smile-inducing.

A live-action Power Pack flick or series?

Honestly, I think we're more likely to see The Incredibles join the Avengers.

Power Pack took me by surprise when they first came out. Loved the kid aspect of it. It reminded me of when I was younger imagining being a superpowered hero. It was perfect.
But, yeah, a live action movie wouldn't work because the kids would age too fast. I don't really want to see it animated but that may be the only way to go, realistically. Unless of course they attempt a TV series. That way you'd expect the kids to age accordingly, like the kids in Full House. I doubt any producers would be willing to try that though. Too bad.

Where'd that Legion shot come from? Classic uniforms, and all.

It's from a poster by June Brigman.

Actually, Disney (especially Disney XD) specializes in live-action kid / tween drama-comedy series, including a couple with spy or monsterish concepts, so kid super-heroes wouldn't be that much of a stretch. Spend most of the time with the kids in powered-down mode (effects budget) and it could work.

Given Jay's observations and the idea that the next few Marvel films will be focusing on the stellar/cosmic side of the MCU (despite the more down-to-Earth scope of Spider-Man: Far From Home), I think that the Power Pack just might pop up on Disney Plus.

"Pack To The Future"

LOL! Good one, Ross. :-)

P.S. @ JJ---But, most of those shows on Disney XD tend toward spoofs and sitcoms. Pretty much most of which seemed to be dummed down in tone.

Well, you've got to consider the audience and the "G" rating requirement. Its not going to be too scary or complicated. I wouldn't expect Deadpool to guest-star, but Kitty & Lockheed, maybe. It wouldn't even have to keep me interested, as long as the kids are into it and it doesn't give me a migraine to have it on.

They tried making a live-action Power Pack TV series once. It didn't work out. I think animation would be the way to go.

ALL of Disney XD gives _me_ a migraine!

But, an animated version of Power Pack on the Fox Network (which did so much for Batman, Spider-man, and Goliath's Gargoyles during the Nineties)? That, I could get behind.

The Legion shot is from the Secret Origins issue that features Phantom Girl.

Hmmmmmmm! How about Power Pack vs. Composite Superman for a sequel?

@Cary: only if he's been "devolved" by the Time Trapper.
