If you are curious about the new heroic identities that these two are using, Jaime Reyes got his new armor in in STF #386, and Matt Murdock received his power ring in STF #1960... Bob Greenwade, a Patron of this blog, suggested I put them together for a story. I've been meaning to put Krakoa on Oa, and this seemed to me to be the perfect place to do so. Who says this isn't the swingin' STF age of serving up scintillating suggested situations?

Iron Beetle and Daredevil

Normally I ONLY immensely enjoy seeing odd characters who would never otherwise meet but really love Amalgam-style heroes being brought together . 1,000,000 likes!
Iron Beetle and (the one I call) Green Devil! Color me one incredibly happy camper! All it needs is a cameo by Access, and it's perfect! (And just because Axel's not on the cover doesn't mean that he isn't showing up somewhere inside!)
May this partnership continue!
Bob Greenwade? That name sounds familiar... I think that I was on a mailing list with him for the HERO system with him about 20 years ago.
If it didn't seem racist, you could maybe pair the Bruce Timm version of Lex Luthor with Daredevil"s (the movie) Kingpin; Businessman Lex Luther and the Kingpin are pretty similar in character.
@Anon #1: Not unlikely, if you were on that list about 20 years ago, since I'm pretty sure I was.
An Amalgam cover! Love it! Daredevil would make a great Green Lantern since he can overcome great fear. He probably wouldn't be the first Green Lantern to use radar as the primary sense for 'seeing', too. Iron Beetle makes sense, too. I do have to wonder how Krakoa would be treated if he landed on Mogo, the only planet to be a Green Lantern. Would Krakoa be a parasite or a cancer? Anyway, I enjoyed this cover. Hope there may even be a sequel to it.

Great job, Ross! Stan and Julie would be proud. :-)
Addendum to Anon #1: I've occasionally suggested to Ross that he include characters from the Champions RPG. My personal favorite idea is Lex Luthor vs. Foxbat in their respective runs for POTUS, though Nightwing meeting Nightwing would be very cool too (possibly with Nightwing along for the ride).
To the last Anon above: Look up the Corps member called Rot Lop Fan, aka F-Sharp Bell!

Luthor meeting President Kyle 'Nighthawk' Richmond would be interesting, too...
@Simreeve: Not as interesting as Catwoman marrying Nighthawk and changing her name to...Selina Kyle-Richmond! :-)
Grooan...
The Mink might have something to say about that.
