Speculation is beginning to circulate about the villain(s) for Wonder Woman 2. Circe is the top choice, and I already know the perfect casting. Charlize Theron won an Oscar working with director Patty Jenkins before, and mentioned that she had wanted to be in the first film, but could not due to scheduling conflicts. I think she would be great in the role. Best of all, Circe is known to transform humans into animals, opening the door for Cheetah to join in on the action as well.
Wonder Woman and Iron Man first appeared together in STF #1886...

I recognize one of the inspirations for this cover! IRON MAN v.1/#50...guest-starring Princess Python at her most erotically self-sufficient.
And the Serpent Crown is a nice additional touch. Probably the greatest occult mcguffin Marvel ever thought of.
Btw: I know they teamed up in STF #572. But, have you ever depicted the Lynda Carter WW paired up with the Nicholas Hammond Spider-Man (aka Spidey '77)?
I really like that Wonder Woman image. Shades of Ross Andru!
Dave sez,
Charlize Theron was pretty good in that one movie where she was a wicked queen; can't remember what it was called, though.
I would like to see more DC Movies like Wonder Woman. Movies that remind me of when Christopher Reeve was Superman...
Yet another well-done cover, Ross! It looks almost like a unit piece; I can just barely make out the (metaphorical) seams. The action certainly looks like it's all in one scene. Plus, I could easily see King Cobra (the Champions supervillain) being the main bad guy in this.
I also like your thoughts re: Charlize Theron, and how to bring Cheetah into the mix.
Whenever Dick Giordano is involved you know they women will be beautiful. He should have been a pin up artist. And I agree with Cathy and Dave; O am tired of the Batman flavored universe and wish he died rather than Superman.
I know where the Wonder Woman cover came from. I use to have the comic. But shouldn't her response to Iron Man be because they are searching for the Serpent Society rather than the Serpent Crown since snakes are involved.
Off topic:
Ever wondered why James Bond never gets killed?
"Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?"
"Enough is enough! I have had it with these mother@%$&in' snakes on these mother@%$&in' covers!"
I agree with KC. Everybody knows gorillas sell more comic books than snakes. ;-)
