I've always loved her costume. Striking.
I've always thought they should rename Monica Rambeau Captain Photon. It would combine her first two superhero names, and I think it suits her.
I think with her being changed into a Ultimate Photon and all of her previous identities are gone for media, etc. Maybe some character with same name will appear but not really same character. Marvel does this with some characters (i.e. when Carol Danvers became Binary) and often ruins them.
Maybe the feature film could depict a dying Carolyn Danvers passing on her Kree-based powers to Monica (a la Abin Sur and Hal Jordan).
I've been waiting for an Air Wave cover (Larry or Hal Jordan), but that doesn't look like the Hal Jordan I remember. Where is that image from? Who is it?
I thought the planned Captain Marvel film was for Billy Batson. Are there two films coming?

There's both a Captain Marvel movie and a Shazam movie in the works.
DC should have never caved on the original Captain Marvel name.

I was thinking, how about a Deathlok/Metallo cover? Deathlok has had a couple of covers with cyborg, but it would be fun to see him mix it up. Or go against Braniac.
I not only agree with Alaric, I'll go him one better. They should officially and permanently re-name Billy Batson's alter-ego... Capt. Shazam!
PHOTON VS DOCTOR LIGHT would be great.
Anything with the original air wave would be great. Roller skating on telephone wires!
I don't think it will happen since Carol will be the main character in the film and could also appear in the untitled fourth Avengers film.
Wolf hammer, Ross has done Photon and Dr. Light (but the Japanese heroine version not the traditional villain).
What I haven't seen is Monica Rambeau and John Rambo.
She's one of my top ten favorite Marvel characters, I agree completely!!
Since Carol took the name for herself maybe Monica could co-opt the Captain Universe title since the one from Hickman's Avengers just vanished.
Also does anyone remember what Monica's rank was back when she was a cop?
Now Nextwave and the Forgotten Heroes would be an interesting pairing... I do miss Monica when she's not in what Warren Ellis called "her proper coat".
