The Justice League of America Vs. Galactus

I had fun with the Galactus/JSA cover, so I wanted to match him up with the JLA as well.  The Justice League is at it's best when placed against larger than life interstellar threats and they don't come any bigger than the devourer of worlds.  I can already envision him taking a bite out of the JLA Satellite like he's eating an apple.

I actually disagree, Ross. My favorite JLA stories were 1) Into the Microcosmos (Gerry Conway,'83) where the mostly non-powered members were reduced in size to search and rescue The Atom from this medieval micro-world. and 2) when they went up against and were picked apart by the Royal Flush Gang (also Conway '82). These storied usually turned on the non-powered members stepping up when the supes were absent or out of commission.

Sweet, sweet cover again man. You seem to have a knack for this stuff. Love the different blending of classic 60's and 80's JLA art w/the current decade(?) rendering of Galactus. That would be such an awesome fight, I can't believe Marvel/DC never jumped on that one. Such a natural no-brainer that one.

He ate the bite sized chunks floating around as an appetizer.

No, no, a continuity re-boot where what Jor-El really saw was Galactus heading Krypton's way! Works great!

Webworker's idea would make for a great Superman vs. Galactus cover (with maybe the Silver Surfer to make it an actual team-up; they go back in time to discover what really happened!).

But I should point out that, from what I've seen, Galactus' "eating" doesn't work like ours. He siphons all the "life energy" out of a world and absorbs it.

Not that it would affect the actual cover in the slightest.

Heh, I know how Galactus works, I just think chomping down on the satellite is a funny visual.

I do have a krypton cover similar to what you suggest coming up.

Great cover! An alternative title could be "Secret Crisis" or "Crisis War". :)
