Firestorm and Thor
I have read that in addition to Loki, the Thor sequel will also feature The Executioner and The Enchantress as villains. This is exactly the direction I was hoping they would go, so I think that this bodes well for a fun story. The Executioner will provide a great hand-to-hand combatant for Thor, while the Enchantress can use her mind games to create some tension with Jane Foster. The usual complaint about too many villains doesn't really apply here, at The Executioner and The Enchantress appeared together so often in the comics (and Loki was never far away, for that matter).

..was scratching my head at the Kirbyesque Firestorm (how?), then I remembered the whole Super Powers period. WOW. I have long since lost my Hawkman and Firestorm action figures from then too.
How about Arak and Warpath (from The New Mutants?) Maybe even throw is Dawnstar!
I know what you mean Anonymous, and then I just bought the DCUC versions of those guys and problem solved.
Nice Kirby cover Ross. You really got Kirby on the brain don't you?
Didn't Kirby do a Super Powers mini-series?
Suddenly I want to see a cover with Firestorm and Dr. Strange. Wow, that would be a contrast.
He did two, Dave!
still hoping for speedy gonzolaz vs flash, underdog vs krypto or mighty mouse, iron fist vs hong kong phooey or angel(buffy) and angel(marvel),son of satan vs demon, kiss with batman/superman/and or spiderman would all be neat.
Dondi and Little Orphan Annie
A full-on Apokolips (sp) vs. Asgard battle would make a stellar wraparound cover!
If that's not enough, then a wraparound cover featuring the Green Lantern Corps vs. The Kree (the latter in their original, 60s costumes).
