The Creeper is one DC character that I have never expected to show up in live action. With James Gunn's interest in obscure and offbeat comic book characters, maybe he has a chance to eventually leap to the big screen at some point. That all depends on the strength of the DCU, which has yet to have a huge hit yet. Hopefully Man of Tomorrow will turn things around.

I love the allusion to Heath Ledger's penultimate iconic line! And a James Gunn-directed Creeper flick might be interesting. Not so much if it wound being directed by James Watkins and/or Terry Phillips.
Whoa! I could've sworn we were being blessed with a double dose of Ditko. Ah, well. It's still a great blending. Thanks for sharing this with us, Ross.
Wow. Great pairing. Id but this now. Hey for future covers…. How about Jean Grey vs Power Girl or USAgent vs Super-Patriot from Freak Force? Thanks for all you do.
"Hopefully Man of Tomorrow will turn things around."
That's what people thought about Superman (2025).
... and Supergirl this summer...
... and the recent Clayface...
Things are not looking too good in the movie dept 😔
The Creeper is a natural against virtually any Spidey baddie.
Love this version of the Creeper and his short-lived series in the 1960s. He also had a great guest-hero appearance in the 1970s Joker series. Yes, if a movie were made faithful to his original story, I'd go see that in a heartbeat.
The Creeper might've been an interesting one to show up as a recurring character on Arrow.
Somewhat unrelated: How about pairing the Question with Mr. Knight (Moon Knight's dapper persona)?
Except for all the Batmans of course. They've still been trying to replicate the success of 1977's Superman as well.
The Creeper is one of my favorite characters. We seen him show up in the Batman family a lot probably because of his similarity to the Joker though he is not a Joker clone like many others out there. But its also no coincidence since Ditko was a both a fan and an assistant to Jerry Robinson. I would have loved to have seen a Ditko Joker with a Green Goblin crossover but he only ever did Man Bat.
(He did do artwork for Superman 400 - it has his trademark down to earth man of the people style which most comic fans didn't recognize).
Hmmm...Ross, could you do a mashup using post-comic book work for career artists? Stuff like Frazetta, Walter Lantz, Carla Barks, and even Lichenstein?
