Sandman is probably the anti-hero, here. Maybe even still employed by Silver Sable. Come to think of it; in the Ross-verse, Markovia and Symkaria are probably neighboring countries!
A similar parallel could match The original Clayface with Moonstone. Karlo vs. Carla
Too bad their powersets are too different compared to this cover.
Talk about being grounded in reality... they had to bestoned to get into this fight.
