With Shalla Bal sent away with Galactus, I hope there is a way for Norrin Radd to join the MCU. Mostly, I want him to get together with Dr. Strange, Hulk and Namor so they can have a Defenders adventure in the MCU.

and maybe the Defenders will be treated as well as the fantastic four have been. Really enjoy Shazzan!!
Unfortunately the Defenders name was already used in the Netflix/Disney+ tv shows.
😞
Norrin Radd: "I wish...that the Sub-mariner's MCU origin be revised back to the original Atlantean origin."
Shazzan: "Cei what?"
@Anon829: dude! Shazzan is a genie. Not a rewrite man.
@Ross: this is genius! A tribute to Hanna-Barbera that doesn't violate your balanced representation rule as the 1967 Saturday morning cartoon FF (which is the first time I ever heard of the Silver Surfer and Galactus) were technically Marvel intellectual property. Thanks for posting it. :-)
Man, a Defenders movie with the original founding members would be incredible. (Provided their original backstories were kept intact.) The Defenders seemed to get stuck with the mystic menaces, and the other would-be-conqueror weirdos the Avengers or FF didn't have time for. I've finally collected The Defenders Essentials Vol. 1,2 & 3 and their lineup seemed to settle around Dr. Strange, The Valkyrie, Nighthawk and the Hulk. Plus Hellcat. Other cool members seemed to come and go, but that was the nature of the comic.
Yep! Marvel's first and greatest non-team. From the first time when the Hulk and the Submariner separately aided (an Eternity Masked?) Dr. Strange against the Undying Ones. Through Valkyrie and Hawkeye aiding them and the Silver Surfer during that now classic summer-long war with the Avengers. All the way up to the final issue of the original comic, in which they had a seemingly final showdown against Moondragon's evil namesake alter-ego.
@Anon 10:03 Yes! The Avengers/Defenders war was awesome, and the editors at Marvel understood how crossovers must have boosted sales, even back then. Heck, I didn't know the Defenders had Luke Cage and the female Red Guardian in their ranks for a while. Plus having Daredevil and Moon Knight as guest stars was also pretty brilliant in their storylines and battles. The Defenders comic was great laboratory for some far out adventures!
"Who is it?"
"It's an elf... An elf with a gun!"
Div and Cary are quite right: The Defenders name and the Sub-Mariner's origin are what they are in the MCU, and we're not likely going to get a revisit the way we did with Deadpool ("Dudes! He's supposed to be the Merc With a Mouth!").
That said, I think it'd be brilliant to see Hulk (Savage or otherwise), Valkyrie, and other classic Defenders members making a Defenders-like team-up in Doctor Strange 3 or 4.
it's a shame that Gerber forgot years later when asked about the elf , what he was going to do with him. one of the greatest cliff hangers never told !
"...we're not likely to get a revisit..."
More's the pity, Bob. :-(
