Hercules and Vixen in: "Trouble Beneath The Rubble!"
Uh oh, Vixen had better watch her step and listen to her instincts. This is the unlucky 13th appearance of the Herc/Vixen team, after all!

On the interior, we learn that it's a Borg-assimilated General Grievous, and Vixen's dialogue is shortened to a simple, "I've got a bad feeling about this."
That's even better than Cary's! Bob? Have two cookies.
Vixen WITH Herc concerned about being outclassed?? Only by Enchantress??
Holy moley, thirteen appearances already!?
Or maybe one of the Totalitarians after assimilating Amora's magic power. "Enter...The Supernatural Adaptoid!"
Sadly, that's true. :-(
Which is why I've voluntarily deleted my previous responses.
Which I wish you hadn't done, Cary, because the "Borg-assimilated" part was suggested to me by your idea.
oh! That thing being seen by Vixen could be an interdimensional portal.
About 12 too many for me. Vixen, Wonder Woman & Power Girl need to be liberated from their male prisoners for some fresh new partners. Superman, Batman & Spidey haven't been bogged down with exclusive female team partners the past couple of years that they can't get rid of. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
OK, then. How about Spidey and Wonder Woman vs Man-Killer? Or Batman and Vixen vs. the Puma? Or Superman and Power Girl vs. the Daleks and the Borg?
That last one could have Brainiac and the 4th Doctor as special guest-stars.*
*A suggestion made as homage to Ordinaryguy's fanfiction epics.
^ Love all of those inspiring ideas CaryComic. I hope to see all of those team up ideas on here 1 day. I still think Wonder Woman should've team up with the Flintstones by now. Her Pre-Crisis self use to ride giant kangas & Fred & Co. had 1 in their time period. I think a cover of theirs even had someone riding one. I know she did on Super Friends #19 when the team fought Menagerie Man for the 2nd time. I'd also like to see her team up with other tiara wearers & some lasso experts & Captain America ain't none of those.
I'd love to see Captain America team up with Oscar The Grouch & try to use his garbage lid as a weapon against the Grinch (Oscar's relative?) or another green baddie. Green Goblin perhaps?
