Tintin and Iron Man

Sure, it's one of the earlier models, but who wouldn't want to spend some time in an Iron Man suit?  I'm sure Tintin has a good reason for needing one.

Boozing it up... in front of a child? Oh, Tony, Tony... ;)

It's never been entirely clear how old Tintin was. He seems young, but he works as a reporter and, in the earlier stories, lives on his own in his own apartment. Later, he moves into Marlinspike Hall with Captain Haddock (whose been known to booze it up quite a bit, himself). He's generally treated as a young adult, rather than a child.

Where's Snowy? Could this be... a rescue mission?

If it is, I can just hear Tintin singing his own going-into-battle song.

"Iron Man! Iron Man! Does whatever an iron can.
Presses clothes wrinkle-free. Doot-doot-doot! Dee-dee-dee!
Hey, there! Here comes the Iron Maaaaaaaan!"

He looks more like Daitokuji-san from PROJECT A-KO.

Yes, where's Snowy? Stark could build a little suit for him too. He had a spacesuit when they went to the moon.

Where did the Iron Man art for this cover come from? Looks like it could be a fun read.

Strange Tales Vol. 2 #2

Nah! That would make him look too much like K-9 (from "Doctor Who:TOS").

Are you sure that wasn't Tales Of Suspense #48?

does the suit come with stilts for shorter people who won't fill the whole suit?
does the suit shrink as needed?

Maybe that's actually the robot called 'Tin', from pre-Crisis 'Earth 11', who appeared in one issue of 'Tales of the Teen Titans' ?

That sounds more like the description of Bozo the Golden Age Iron Man.

Hey! There's an idea. Bozo the Iron Man piloted by his namesake (Larry Harmon's world-famous clown)!
