Mars Attacks The Borg

I never thought I would see a scenario where I was rooting for The Borg, but this might be one of them.  Will the Martians assimilate or Ack Ack Ack their way to victory?  It would be fun to find out!

"We are the Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be ack-ack-ack-acclimated."

Brilliantly unexpected, Ross. Bravo! :-)

"Cease all acktivities and ackcept your fate!" My money is on the Borg, but not before the Martians inflict their own special kind of pun-ishment. Maybe the Borg will take on a Tim Burton look after this battle. ;)

You mean, they'll resemble stop-motion animated puppets that talk like characters out of an old Universal Studios horror film?

The only Borg battle that could be better than this would be if they were to assimilate Bizarro-Earth.

Oh, this is great! And I like how it's a rare cover entirely free of word balloons or blurbs, nothing to get in the way of this beauty! Nicely done!

Oh, man!!! Can you imagine hundreds of Borg drones talking in Yoda-speak?

"Helloooooooooo, Earth!"

Would Marvin be leading that attack?

The one race the Borg would not assimilate.

Awesome!

This needs to happen! It would be awesome!

And the one race not even Dr. Who would object to the Daleks exterminating.

It's too bad Ross will probably never have enough images to depict the Borgs and the Daleks warring against each other!

P.S.---am I the only one who thinks these Martians more greatly resemble Pons Limbic of the Siniteen (the Episode 4 cantina alien nicknamed Brainiac)?

I mean, for a second time?*

*See STF #841.

Absolutely not! :-)

Come to think of it, that would make a great sequel to STF #4978 (from this past Nov. 29). "Mars Attacks Brainiac!" Guest-starring...Alpha Flight.
