I'm going to have to go back and read the Machine Man mini series that featured Arno Stark, the Iron Man of 2020. Not only to revisit the gorgeous Barry Windsor-Smith artwork, but to see how closely the future depicted resembles the 2020's that have actually come to pass.

MERLIN: "You are the one they call 'Iron Man,' from the year 2020?"
IRON MAN: "Is that a Yes Arno question...?"
(MERLIN stares for a long, silent moment.) ;)
It wasn't distopian enough to predict what happened.
@Anon638L The Germanic-speaking Saxons would score that a "nein." ;-)
@Ross: I remember reading the trade paperback that reprinted it circa the 1990's. And, in 20/20 hindsight, I'd have to say...frighteningly close!
But, the Midnight Wreckers definitely put the punks in "cyber-punk."
There was a What If comic where Tony Stark was stranded in King Arthur’s time.
Which means this could be King Anthony's 15th-century descendant: King Arno the Iron-hearted.
The prediction made by Hanna-Barbera in SEALAB 2020 still hasn't come to pass, though. Namely; complete lack of any full-functioning undersea colony.
Even more interesting might be teaming him up with Booster Gold, Kamandi, or the Doctor, making him Iron Man 202020.
Just as the 1960 Bruce Wayne came there via his professor friend.
Ah, yes! Prof. Carter Nichols and his unique form of hypno-regression.
