Black Panther and Sgt. Rock

I liked the brief flashback scene we got of T'Chaka fully suited up in the first Black Panther movie, and it would have been cool to see more of him in action.  Something tells me that he and Sgt. Rock would have a grudging respect for one another.

Both being individuals of honor, seems like a pretty safe bet. Who would not care about bringing them possibly together??

Modern-day Marvel and DC are the first two usual suspects who spring to mind. It took them twenty-something years after "Uncanny X-men & New Teen Titans" to bring the Avengers and JLA, together! And blaming that on Onslaught, in my fan fiction, is my only catharsis.

Whoa! King T'chaka is almost Wolverine-like, sporting those Lee Press-on Claws! And, given the M-16 in Rock's hands, I gather this is happening circa the Vietnam War. But, why would the legendary Top Kick of Easy Company be in Wakanda in the first place? A covert operation for SHIELD? But, if so, why pick him? Could one of the mercenaries rounded by Ulysses Klaw actually be Frank's MIA brother; Lt. Larry Rock, USMC?

I am, of course, alluding to FF v.1/#52 (July 1966).

While the Fighting Devil Dog was rendered a mute amnesiac as a result of being kidnapped from a Swiss hospital, and tortured for info, by Nazi spies prior to being rescued by his big brother and Mlle. Marie (in SGT. ROCK v.1/#421, Apr. 1988).

@Carycomic: that might work! Who's to say that Bucky Barnes was the first one to undergo proto-Hydra brainwashing after narrowly surviving near-certain death?

Given that T'Chaka (in the MCU) was still of the traditional isolationist mindset, I think the "grudging respect" would be a good call.

And Etrigan as ringmaster!

Nah! Save him for a cover where he's fighting Ulysses Bloodstone.
