This issue serves to close up a loose STF plot line. Doctor Fate met Professor X in STF #4321, and the two were merged into one in STF #4322. I figured that it was time to follow up on that two-parter and get these guys unfused.

@Anon957: you want talk about strange? If Professor Fate were amalgamated with the Scarlet Spider, would we wind up with Benjamin Kent Xavier...or Charles Nelson Reilly?
Fun fact: Professor Fate was the name of Jack Lemmon's character in that 1960's comedy classic, "The Great Race".
@Anon and Dave: that might actually make for a great movie poster simulation. Patrick Stewart (from the X-men films) and Pierce Brosnan (from "Black Adam") having their powers siphoned off by Jack Lemmon (as T.O. Morrow) to become the evil amalgam known as Professor Fate!
I can picture it now: Doctor Strangefate in the center of the cover, as Iron Beetle, accompanied by Green Devil, shouts: "Dude! You're not just in the wrong universe -- you're in the wrong multiverse!"
Honest question: If the souls of CHARLES Xavier and Kent NELSON are merged together and put into the body of Spider-Clone Ben REILLY would this new entity now be called..... CHARLES NELSON REILLY???
