This story is a direct sequel to STF #4368, where The Last Boy on Earth first met The World Devourer. For this follow up tale, I figured that it was only appropriate to use Jack Kirby images, as he was the artistic genius behind both characters.

Maybe Kamandi could be met by the Zoo Crew who want to replace him as a superhero.
That it's! That's part of the contingency plan. Kamandi and Little Cheese (from the Zoo Crew) are going to do some Fantastic Voyaging inside Galactus.
Anon809? You're a genius!
Maybe Kamandi could also team up with Beast Boy, who could fly inside Galactus's ear and pull the same move he did with Trigon (at least in the cartoon Teen Titans).
Kamandi was one of my favorite comics back when I was a teenager. Kirby never really seemed to have plans for the series, but it was fun to read anyway until it was taken over by lesser writers and artists.
Okay, who gave the post-apocalyptic caveboy the Ultimate Annihilator?
didn't know I wasn't signed in.
Big G vs Matter Eater Lad at Hell's Kitchen!! Put G.in the Phantom Zone and see if it helps him.
No shirt, cut-off jean shorts, and makeshift boots.
He's got to have one heck of a contingency plan!
I believe it's pronounced "Ultimate Nullifier." Unless it was stolen (and renamed) by Annihilus of the Negative Zone.
Maybe a GL power ring in his back pocket?
I mean, let's face it. The Guardians of the Ross-verse seem to hand them out to everyone else!
Yeah, I probably got the name wrong. I wasn't sure I was remembering it right.
P.S. @ Det. Tobor: if nothing else, Kamandi could use that ring to willpower up a Galactus-sized Phantom Zone Projector!
I thought by Ultimate Annihilator ShadowWing was referring to Galactus himself.
Or use it to call Mogo the living planet green lantern for help.
Even better! Jason? You're a genius. :-)
Nope, just screwed up the name.
Thanks. I finally suggested an idea you haven't already done yourself then? Cool. Please feel free to use it if you really like it. :-)
Well, let's just say that, after nearly twenty-one hundred issues, Mogo and Galactus are way overdue for a rematch.
