Guardian Vs. Sandman

 

Cadmus is the kind of place that I can see a reformed Flint Marko working at.  There would definitely be friction with the regular staff though, and that could make for a fun tale.

Yeah, I can just see Project: Cadmus being put under Task Force X control by Amanda Waller (or the Ross-verse counterpart thereof, anyway). With Marko getting recruited as security chief via the Suicide Squad! But, is this really the Jim Harper-cloned Guardian uncharacteristically breaking in, simply out of disgruntled ex-employee resentment? Or is it a crime-fighting master of disguise trying to get the goods on the true reason for the project's administrative take-over? "Only The Shadow knows."

My first thought was that this was a misunderstanding; but this over-muscled individual does not look like the same Guardian who has swapped shields with Captain America.

My guess is that this is an earlier attempt at cloning Jim Harper, who has somehow escaped stasis and is now running rampant around the base in a fit of "'roid rage."
