I was expecting to see Amanda Waller appear at some point in Peacemaker season two, but she did not show up. There was talk of a solo Waller series in the works, but I don't think that is happening any more. Hopefully we will see Viola Davis back in the role in one of the DCU's upcoming projects.

Uh oh. The Wackos are in trouble. Up against the Wall, you might say.
Personally, I'd rather see Doomsday actually make a cameo appearance in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY than see Waller in another DCU film. As a schemer against superheroes, she makes even Henry Peter Gyrwich look like a rank amateur by comparison! But, I also think that she's been as cinematically overused as Deadpool.
@Alaric: Good one! :-)
@Ross: I wonder if Agent Gyrich was forcibly replaced by Waller, as the WCA's Federal liaison, or if he voluntarily requested that she replace him?
So, to paraphrase Pink Floyd, you'd rather see DC Films take a break from The Wall.
So, Cary... if Amanda was to "recruit" Venom, would he then be just another Brock in the Wall? #BadPunNoCookie
I would have thought Amanda Waller would take over the Thunderbolts instead of the West Coast Avengers
Oooh, that gives me an idea for Ross! Peacemaker joins the Thunderbolts! He'd fit right in!
Well, I don't know about Cary. But, I'd certainly 75% of a cookie for that one!
:-)
in that case? Maybe the next fortieth-issue super-group clash should be the Wall Coast Avengers vs. Peacemaker & The Thunderbolts!
I'd buy that for sixty cents! :-)
Throw in Robocop and I'd buy that for a dollar!
To Bob Greenwade - More likely a Waller in the Wall. If I were Venom, I wouldn't put up with her as my boss for any reason.
since the Wall was on Smallville, i think she has had as much exposure as many of the non powered majors. Now if she did a Marvel version of the Suicide Squad with neck implants on Norman and such, that might be iinteresting. She might surprise people and team up with Tony since his position with Civil War!!
Or, worse, she could become the newest host for the Dreadface symbiote and go after Eddie "Venom" Brock...as a mate!
No disrespect to the great Viola Davis but CCH Pounder will always be the best Amanda Waller.
In terms of an OAV based on the Kevin Conroy-era DCAU, I agree. But, in terms of live-action feature portrayal, Viola Davis captured Waller's narcissistic sociopathy came closest to what was artistically depicted during that Checkmate/Suicide Squad crossover story arc known as the "Janus Imperative." To quote the immortal words of the George Bush analog: "You've played the lone wolf too long...and you enjoy it too much!"
