Superman and Thor in: "The Kryptonian Transfusion!"

I haven't had these two together for a while, and I thought it was time to feature them together again.  Superman and Thor have shared other STF adventures:

in Issue #1155, they paid for the sins of their fathers...

in Issue #994, they starred in an all-Kirby classic...

In Issue #949, they battled Amazo and the Taskmaster...

In Issue #155, they were confronted by their fathers...

In Issue #31, they squared off against Mongul...

and they first crossed paths way back in Issue #17.

You left out STF #156.

Sorry, that should read STF #155.

It stands to reason why Thor could accept a transfusion of Kryptonian blood. According to STF #17, he's only half-Asgardian!

Hmm; I wonder if this has anything to do with Thor's apparent "marriage" to Lois Lane back in Issue #4764......

Maybe Loki and Lokix (a pokemon).

Or Lokix vs. Throg?

OK, I flat out love this. Curt Swan. Silver Age Superman giving a blood transfusion to Marvel Age Thor... Perfect!

Since Thor hass super strength and flight, what would he need from Kal-el?Senses? Breath? Speed? Hearing? Memory? Enhanced invulnerability? Would Thor ask to borrow Clark's powers? Would he know if the could be transferred?
Some of these back stories could be as interesting as the main story.

Actually, Thor couldn't fly. He just flung Mjolnir and then hung on to the strap! And, Kryptonian vision might come in handy considering that Clark Kent and Don Blake first met as teenagers in SUPERBOY v.1/#195 (copyright 1973)...where the latter was a blind high school student.

Dear Ross: it was one year ago, exactly, that you had Kamandi meet the Avengers. How about a sequel where he also meets the Inhumans? Not only would it be another all-Kirby special. But, also, it'd be highly interesting (to say the least) to see how Lockjaw and Prof. Canus would react to one another!

Did the original version of this cover have Superman giving his powers to Lois?
