Peacemaker and The Punisher

The new season of Peacemaker will be airing soon on HBO Max.  The first season was surprisingly enjoyable, and it will be very interesting to see how the show changes between the DCEU and James Ginn's new DCU. I'm also dying to see the new opening credits sequence.

So! The Gun Hands are back, are they? One of the few times I ever felt sorry for armed hirelings. By the way, Ross: is there any hope for, say, a Halloween cover featuring Wild Dog vs. Jason Voorhees?

My favourite version of Peacemaker was when he appeared quite often in the (Jaime Reyes) 'Blue Beetle' series after Infinite Crisis.

Just so long as the Jon Cena version doesn't appear in the first Blue Beetle sequel (which, if he did, would get it entitled "Crisis In The DCEU")!

I haven't been able to bring myself to watch it. I'm just not crazy about R-rated superhero stuff. Don't understand why we have to have f-bombs in everything.

I watched the pilot and it was pretty bad. HBO continues to butcher stuff because they can't get out of their 80's pay cable style "edginess". I don't understand how anyone could watch it, though the second Suicide Squad was pretty enjoyable.

I don't subscribe to HBO, anyway, as my local provider charges too much for it, as an optional extra, anyway. So, I'm not missing the Peacemaker series in the slightest. And, from the sound of it, I'm definitely not missing anything worthwhile!

No HBO, DISNEY + , or a lot of the other streamers. Don't have 10 thousand a month for tv. :( ......i'm happy some people do. Too bad the Vigilante couldn't be in this group.
