The X-Men Vs. Batman's Villains

I feel that this would be an interesting series of match-ups, worthy of 100 pages.  Do you think the children of the atom have what it takes to defeat Gotham's most infamous foes?

Here's a look at the full size versions of this issue's features:

Completely unexpected and very appreciated. The rogues will think the X-Men have minor super powers and none of them are invulnerable. They are so right...unfortunately for the rogues!! Training room!! Jean vs fear gas? That could be a problem for EVERYONE!!
Poor Ms Kyle, Hank is going to have to wait till he stops laughing to trap her.
And then, there is the unknown Professor X in the background.

Awesome sauce, Ross! :-)

But, with all due respect to Det. Tobor, I don't think this is just a Danger Room training scenario. For evidence, I cite the Joker appearing to Angel as a genie. That is clearly the fabled Lamp of Larko! Which means the Joker is now under someone else's control...and no doubt using his new magic powers on that person's behalf. But, who could that be if not one of the other Bat-foes?

How about Dr Doom and Prof. Hugo Strange?

Congrats on another anniversary! The 100 pagers were always a treat for me and this is one that would get top priority in buying and reading! Good match ups! The heroes have the powers edge but the villains have cunning on their side!

A very classy combination.
Jean Grey should be able to handle Two Face easily - the coin would always come up the way she wanted. In fact, she may already be at work behind the scenes helping Scott update his uniform - I doubt he had time for a costume change before getting trapped in the Dent Dungeon.
But I suspect all is not what it seems. These young X-folk are surely the ones who Bendis time travelled into the modern age. And maybe he did the same for Bat's baddies when he briefly worked for DC....
Lots more fun to be had here methinks.

The younger X-Men were not as experienced and certainly were not used to the psychological ploys Batman used but Batman foes except the Joker usually were not killers so would have time to come back and overcome them.

WONDERFUL! I'd definitely buy a copy. Maybe the Professor, offstage, is playing chess against Ra's al Ghul? My only [minor] quibble is that maybe swapping the opponents for Jean and Warren might be a slightly better fit...

Or, perhaps, Magneto has teamed up with Dr. Double-X!

Fantastic cover for Super Team Family #4800 Ross! You've got errific style match ups from the early 1960's. It's interesting how the bad guys are prepared to take on each specific X-Man. (Of course, if the Joker had the powers of a genie, that would throw just about any hero off balance.) Good points from Anon 7:23AM and Simreeve as well. But this confrontation between the original X-Men and the classic Batman Villains is a masterpiece in style and one-on-one contests. Cheers!

I meant, "terrific style match ups". Looks like I "erred" again.

Or, failing that, swapping the captives of Two-Face and Catwoman!

Like they say on the Spanish channel reruns of ALF: "No problema!"
